Attention to detail is a must, ideally, our employees can see what needs to be done without being asked. Our team members need to have positive attitudes and strong work ethics, everyone is expected to be willing and happy to lend a helping hand when needed. It is key that our employees can be happy in a remote area with limited cell phone service, if this is a concern please discuss it during the interview process.

Turpin Meadow Staff is the key to the success of our Ranch.  Time and time again our guests mention the staff by name in our 5 Star reviews.  A positive guest experience can directly result in a higher income for our staff.  Everyone works as a team to see that our guests have the best Wyoming Ranch experience possible.

Room and Board

Turpin Meadow Ranch provides on-property housing for all staff at no charge.  Housing is considered bunk style, meaning typically everyone has a roommate.  The housing includes access to a community kitchen in each building and a staff laundry facility is also provided on the property.

Employee Perks

All ranch staff receives a portion of shared gratuities via a very robust Camp Tip Program.  Guests contribute to a Ranch Gratuity based on their experience at the Ranch.  This gratuity is then collected over the season and distributed equally to all the staff at the end of each season.  Because you, as part of the ranch staff can directly impact your income buy assuring every guest has the best time possible, you will find everyone on the team has a common goal.

Staff also have access to the ranch amenities.  As a part of the Turpin Meadow Winter Team, you will have access to all that the ranch has to offer.  We provide opportunities for staff to participate in all the activities offered including fishing, horseback riding, fat tire biking, hiking and many other activities at the ranch.  We offer special employee discounts on retail items and food from the restaurant.  We also work with several vendors throughout the area that provide special consideration for Turpin Meadow Staff on their services.

Getting Here and Getting Around

You will be expected to arrive in Jackson Hole by your own means. Jackson Hole does have an airport, though it is strongly recommended that you have your own means of reliable transportation so that you can explore the nearby national parks and get into the town of Jackson on your own. The ranch does not provide regular employee shuttles.

Navigation systems and GPS units may provide inaccurate information, so it's a good idea to print and prepare your driving directions beforehand. If you have any questions about closed roads or general directions, please call us before you begin your journey to the ranch. Cell phone reception can be limited in many nearby areas and through many parts of Wyoming.

Multi-sport days are a regular thing around these parts, it is not unheard of to ski, bike, and snowmobile all on the same day. By night enjoy a campfire with some good friends. The ranch is located only an hour away from the town of Jackson.

Staff is encouraged to take advantage of everything the ranch and the surrounding area have to offer.  We work, live and play together.  We want our staff to have the same experiences our guests do.
