About Alaska Tales Whale Watching

Alaska Tales offers daily whale watching tours in Juneau Alaska during the summer tourist season (May-Oct). We operate multiple 49 passenger catamarans as well as single 16 passenger smaller vessel for a more private and intimate experience. With a staff of more than 30, the team is comprised of a variety of rolls, including boat captains, deckhands, naturalists, bus drivers, doc attendants, and sales staff.

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is one that thrives in a collaborative environment. Alaska Tales employees can expect to work hard and be paid handsomely for their efforts.  

All candidates must be available May 1st through Oct 1st. 

Room and Board

Housing assistance is available on a case by case basis.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Some employees choose to bring a personal vehicle, however one is not required. Juneau Alaska is a small town that is relatively easy to navigate without the use of personal transportation. `
