    Kitchen Manager/Cook

    $2,000.00 / month + tips
    Grand Lake

    The Kitchen Manager/Cook guides the operations of Shadowcliff’s Compassionate Kitchen in a manner consistent with our principles of hospitality and sustainability. This position oversees the meals for retreats and gatherings of varying size and duration as well as special events throughout the season. The Kitchen Manager/Cook plans and prepares meals for groups as well as for staff, supervising lead kitchen assistants, rotating hospitality assistants, and volunteers in meal preparation, service, and clean-up. This is a full-time position with a private room, board, and a monthly salary.

    Maintenance Manager

    $1,500.00 / month + tips
    Grand Lake

    The Maintenance Manager cares for the facilities and grounds of the Shadowcliff campus by providing proactive and preventive maintenance and upkeep, timely repairs, and progress updates as well as assigning special projects to staff and working with the leadership team and Board for design and implementation of long term improvements. This position includes a private room, board, and a monthly salary.

    Guest Services Assistants

    $1,000.00 / month + tips
    Grand Lake

    The Guest Services Assistants support the operations of Shadowcliff's Front Office by working with a diverse group of people, answering the phone, managing the reservation system, responding to emails, doing hospitality laundry, and providing daily housekeeping in and around the Front Office area/lounge/guest kitchen along with occasional kitchen shut-down assistance. This position includes a shared room, board, and monthly salary.

    Lead Kitchen Assistants

    $1,000.00 - $1,100.00 / month + tips
    Grand Lake

    Lead Kitchen Assistants support the Kitchen Manager/Cook in operating Shadowcliff’s Compassionate Kitchen in a manner consistent with our principles of sustainability and hospitality during the peak period of mid-June through mid-August. The Lead Kitchen Assistants help prepare meals for retreats and gatherings of varying size and duration, special events, and staff meals as determined by the Kitchen Manager/Cook. This position also leads other rotating hospitality assistants and volunteers in meal preparation, service, and clean-up when the Kitchen Manager/Cook is not present. This position includes a shared room, board, and monthly salary. Can also be a hybrid position between kitchen and hospitality staff for the full duration of the season.

    Hospitality Assistants

    $1,000.00 / month + tips
    Grand Lake

    Hospitality Staff are responsible for working as a team to provide a variety of services including housekeeping, kitchen assistance, and special projects for the full Shadowcliff campus and our guests, with close attention to health and safety policies and procedures. Detailed and conscientious demonstration of duties includes cleaning cabins, guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with strict cleaning protocols, doing hospitality laundry, assisting the Kitchen Manager/Cook and Lead Kitchen Assistants with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen clean-up, and performing special projects for Shadowcliff's facilities and grounds under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager. This position includes a shared room, board, and monthly salary.
