In Escalante, you can explore both Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks as well as the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Dixie National Forest, and a handful of State Parks. Oh, and you can walk to the Petrified Forest State Park, too!

Escalante is a small town with no traffic lights, yet it has everything you need to live comfortably. While a trip to Walmart is 3 hours away, locally farmed produce is available right in town. Escalante has a small grocery store, clinic + pharmacy, a car mechanic and a handful of restaurants. With 2.5 million acres of adventure in arms reach, this is the perfect place to quench your thirst for outdoor fun.  

Our season starts in March and ends in October yearly.

Self-contained housing (van-lifers, RV-roamers, tiny-home warriors, bus-dwellers, rugged adventure-seekers) have access to RV sites with hookups.

Our team members receive discounts on merchandise and food + beverage on property, family discounts on rooms, 24/7 free laundry, high speed Wi-Fi, full use of our luxury bathhouses and staff meal once a week! It is likely that you’ll finish season having created life-long friendships!

Ofland is roughly a 5-hour drive from Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Once here, we are less than 2 miles outside of Escalante proper, but it is highly recommended that you have a vehicle to get to and from town for personal errands, etc.

There are no public transportation offerings in Escalante, such as a bus service or Uber/Lyft.

This is one of the most beautiful places on earth with so much to see and do. There is something for everyone! With easy access to mountains, desert, slot canyons, a pretty cool river, and tons more, you will love it here. There is always more to explore, and we are happy to show you all of our favorite spots!

As a part of the international dark sky, the milk way can be seen with the naked eye more than half the year. The stars out here are guaranteed to take your breath away! Our full moons light up the desert and you can easily go for a walk without a light.
