About The Lazy L&B Ranch

Located in the heart of Wind River Country in Dubois, Wyoming the Lazy L&B Ranch provides a unique and memorable experience for guests and crew alike. We're surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of wildlife habitat, National Forest, and Indian Reservation. Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Jackson are all under 2 hours away for exploration on days off.

Our maximum number of guests is 35 and we only offer 6-night stays. This allows staff to get to know guests on a more personal level and develop a rapport throughout the week. We strongly encourage staff to converse, dine, and interact with our guests as much as possible. Developing friendships with other employees is a given as we live and work as a family for the season, creating incredible memories for our guests and ourselves!

Ideal Candidate

Our best employees love the outdoors, enjoy meeting new people and have no problem helping out wherever and whenever they're needed. We live and work together closely for the season so those who enjoy a family atmosphere will be be happiest. Enjoying your work and having fun while doing it is important because we do spend a fair amount of time working but there are also lots of opportunities to have fun together too! Western attire is required.

Room and Board

Due to our remote location all staff lives at the ranch. There are some shared cabins where you have your own bedroom but will be sharing the cabin with 2-3 other people. There are also some single cabins which are assigned to senior employees. The bath house is about 20 feet from staff cabins.

Staff is served the same delicious meals as guests. The fridge in the staff room is stocked with leftovers for you to help yourself on the chef's day off.

Employee Perks

40% off Kimes Ranch Apparel. Wholesale prices on Roper, STS, Tin Haul, and Stetson products.

Getting Here and Getting Around

A lot of our staff drive to the ranch which gives you a bit more flexibility to explore surrounding areas. If you prefer to fly, there are airports in Riverton (RIW) and Jackson (JAC).

For Fun

  • The opportunity to meet new people from around the world in a unique setting offers an unforgettable experience.
  • Fishing Wyoming's untouched rivers, camping, hiking and riding incredible and diverse terrain.
  • Tuesday night square dance (or shooting pool) at the Rustic Pine Tavern is always fun!
