Huttopia's mission has always been the same: to seek out beautiful natural locations and to set up comfortable accommodations, such as wood and canvas tents and chalets, in harmony with nature.
At the entrance of the White Mountains National Park and the Kancamagus higway. Huttopia is located on a small lake named Iona. Between North Conway and Lake Winipesauke. White Mountains is an ideal place to escape to nature. It is a secluded paradise with a clear lake, meandering creek and rolling woodlands in the foothills of the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Less than a 2.5 hour drive from downtown Boston and convenient to the trailheads, scenic views and swimming holes of the White Mountain National Forest, Huttopia White Mountains is an ideal place to escape to nature. It is a secluded paradise with a clear lake, meandering creek and rolling woodlands in the foothills of the White Mountains of New Hampshire.Enjoy a swim in Iona Lake from our beach. There’s also our heated saltwater pool and plenty of freshly made meals to enjoy from our unique on-site bistro – we converted an old Airstream trailer and equipped it with a full commercial kitchen and even flatbread pizza oven!

Room and Board
We offer different free housing accommodations. You will be housed in a trailer or tent with a roommate. You have access to a common kitchen, where you can be independent and cook whatever, whenever you want. You can also choose to eat at the restaurant and use your meal discount.

Getting Here and Getting Around
If you live near Huttopia White Mountains in New Hampshire and don’t want to live on-site, then you can come work with your personal vehicle. Parkings are available for you all summer long. If you are not at all close, we will be happy to find you a nice home on-site. Together, we will arrange the initial transportation and find the best option to bring you on-site.

Purpose of the Position:
To assist a company improve their accommodations before the 2024 season
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks/Duties:
· Install new canvas and woodstove
o Remove canvas using ladders and ropes
o Install new canvas with ladders and ropes
o Fasten railings
o Build chimney and place woodstove
· Follow plans and head of workshop instructions
· Being motivated to learn our building processes
Qualifications and skills needed:
You don't need any particular qualifications, just motivation, and be aware that this is a very manual job
· Confident with tools use (circular saw, drills, screw driver, compressed-air tools, …)
· Being comfortable doing a manual job whole day
· Handling heavy material with other workers
· Understand plans and follow the rules
· Report problems or concerns to the manager
· Notions of electricity, would be a plus
· Forklift certification would be a plus
Pay Rate:$22.00 per hour
Hour Requirements or Preference: 40 hours a week, non-exempt
Schedule: 8am-12pm / 12:30pm-4:30pm from Monday to Friday. Starting April 1st 2024
