Carved by the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon exposes nearly two billion years of history, making it a popular destination for travelers from around the world. While the South Rim sees visitors year-round, the North Rim is a remote destination, where nature, solitude, and beauty prevail. Sitting nearly 8,000 feet in altitude and surrounded by dense forests, the North Rim welcomes any adventure seeker ready for the next step in their career.

The Grand Canyon North Rim offers careers across hospitality, retail, culinary, operations, food service, and maintenance. It’s the perfect place to pursue what matters, whether you’re looking for a seasonal opportunity or ready to build a long-lasting career.

The Grand Canyon North Rim operates visitor services under a concession agreement with the National Park Service. Our operation includes 218 guest cabins and hotel units, dining room, gift shop, deli, general store, public laundry and shower facility, and gas station.

Our Employees come from various parts of the United States and all over the world. With such a small and diverse staff, Grand Canyon North Rim provides a community atmosphere and encourages cultural exchanges. Many of our staff members have returned for multiple seasons, and we would love to have you join us as part of our family!

We also offer planned recreational opportunities, as well as outings and trips to other National Parks and places of interests.

No two days are the same with Aramark Destinations! Employees come to the North Rim from all over the world; with such a diverse staff, you’ll be part of a community that encourages cultural exchange and knowledge sharing. 

You’ll have the opportunity to spend your days building a career in hospitality and your free time enjoying the outdoors. Employees also can join planned recreational activities and outings to other national and state parks.

Team members reside either in our employee dorms or the staff RV park. Along with free laundry facilities, modern dorm rooms are shared between one or two people, and each room has its own bathroom and closet space. In addition to a refundable $100 room deposit for the season, there is a $15/day cost for room and board, which includes three meals and is deducted from paychecks.

RV sites are full hook-up, paved, and wooded. In addition to a refundable $50 deposit, RV spots cost $6/person per day and does not include meals, but food can be purchased on site. Pets are permitted in the park based on service regulations.

Staff members may drive to the Grand Canyon North Rim or access the property through a combination of air and shuttle services. A vehicle is not a necessity at the North Rim, but it is a convenience. There is a no-cost shuttle service from the housing area to worksites. 

By Car: You can access the property via North/South I-15 between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City or East/West I-40 between Los Angeles and Albuquerque. 

By Air and Shuttle: It’s best to fly into Las Vegas and then take a Greyhound Bus or the St. George Shuttle to St. George, UT. The North Rim team provides free shuttle service from St. George to the property with advance notice. 

The remote setting of the North Rim offers a rare opportunity to explore and experience nature at its finest. Close by, there are challenging trails to hike and scenic trails for you to enjoy. Spend your free time hiking, mountain biking, star gazing, rafting, watching stunning sunrises and sunsets, and so much more.

The North Rim team offers plenty of planned recreational opportunities, such as team sports, holiday celebrations, arts and crafts, yoga, music and movie events, and trips to other parks and places of interest nearby!
