Current Job dates:
Currently recruiting for the season that runs from May 9th, 2024 to October 16th, 2024.
- Breakfast: Made to order. For example: eggs, french toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage etc.
- Dinner: Lodge Style; three dinner options each night, (meat, fish, veggie). On average 40 meals per night, (+/- 10) plus dessert.
- Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations
- Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
- Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift
- Cooking orders according to food health and safety standards
- Handling multiple food orders at one time
- Monitoring multiple food orders at one time
- Plating order for presentation
- Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides
- Washing dishes
- Storing all food properly
- Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils
- Follow all house recipes to ensure consistency
- Receive orders, rotate old products, and restock new products
- Arriving to shift on time, prepared for work
- Monitor and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Minimum 1 year experience working in kitchens
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
- Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand on feet for up to 10 hours a day
- Baking experience preferred
- Ability to follow all directives given by any member of the management
- Communicate professionally with FOH and BOH staff, including management, and be a role model of professionalism
- Enjoy three meals a day, plus snacks as part of your compensation.
- Housing Included - Mid May through Mid October
- We currently have two housing options left.
- We have one private room with a shared hallway bath. It's private but it's located close to the kitchen so it can wake you up early.
- The second is for a VanLifer! If you own your own van, we have a magical, off-grid location for you to park it. Must be set up as an off-grid camper.
