Alaska Coach Tours was formed in 2004 for the purpose of providing ground transportation and tour services for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Regent, NCL, Viking, Un-Cruise and Lindblad Expeditions/National Geographic in Southeast Alaska. We operate in Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka, and Skagway during the summer season from May through October. Our company owns and operates over 100 motorcoaches in these locations - providing Southeast Alaska with one of the youngest motorcoach fleets available.

Alaska Coach Tours offers employee housing for driver/guides in Alaska
Please note: there are multiple individuals in each residence and everyone has a roommate.
What is NOT covered is cable/internet service and anything you would normally purchase for your own house such as your basic necessities, groceries, cleaning supplies, sheet/towels, etc.
We do provide each house with basic furniture including pots/pans, dishes, single twin beds, couch, dining table.
Driver guides receive a contract completion bonus equaling $1/per hour for all hours worked.
Driver guides receive a $1/per hour safety bonus at the successful completion of their contract.
Driver guides receive a travel reimbursement to assist with relocation.
Discounted tours with tour partners!
It is the employee's responsibility to make their own travel arrangements to/from their division of employment.
Once at the division, it is the employee's responsibility to get themselves to/from work on time.
It is highly recommended that consideration is given to bringing a bike or driving a car up to Alaska. Once in your division, some drivers pull their money to purchase a used car for the summer season to assist with their transportation needs.
Alaska is definitely the land of outdoor fun - whether it is kayaking through the pristine waters, hiking gorgeous trails through the Tongass National Forest or enjoying a softball game under the midnight sun. There is always time to get out and enjoy the natural beauty of this great land - and you should take those opportunities when in Southeast Alaska.
As a tourism employee, you will have the chance to participate in multiple tours throughout the summer. Most operators provide industry rates or space available seating for our employees. Enjoy an afternoon of whale watching, zip line courses, dog sledding, floatplane trips, railroad tours, go-karts, helicopter tours, guided hikes, biking tours, river rafting, kayaking, and many other excursions.

Create daily dispatches in the office for ship days and work on docks to direct passengers and buses. This is a high activity job that requires a knack for multi-tasking and the ability not to get frazzled (easy on the caffeine!). You must be able to communicate clearly with staff, ship representatives, and vendor partners. There is always something to do, so no downtime to let your mind wander. If you love striving for glory and relish connecting/networking, this is the job for you!

JOB TITLE: Ketchikan Operations Supervisor
LOCATION: Ketchikan, Alaska
Reports To: Ketchikan Division Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Alaska Coach Tours is hiring a Ketchikan Operations Supervisor that will assist our Division Manager in overseeing motorcoach operations -- including supervising Driver/Guides and acting as a main point of contact for motorcoach operational related queries. This is a seasonal, full-time position from mid-April through October 2023. This is an opportunity to grow, with potential to become a year-round position with recruiting, hiring, and training duties during the winter. 2+ years of experience in Alaska tourism and a Class B CDL is preferred.

Pay is based upon experience. Season-end bonus and travel reimbursement are included in compensation package. .
