Our unique location near the North Carolina coast, in Arapahoe, NC, on one of the widest parts of Neuse River is an ideal setting for campers to experience and learn sailing and powerboating. Along with sailing and powerboating, Camp Sea Gull also offers a wide variety of land and sea activities, including skiing, swimming, fishing, creative arts, archery, riflery, canoeing, nature/environmental activities, paddle sports, golf, tennis, soccer, basketball, lacrosse and more

We pride ourselves in creating a caring, inclusive, and welcoming environment that uses fun, interactive, and challenging activities to build relationships and grow personal confidence.
Each season, our staff have the chance to change the lives of campers and themselves. Every staff member has the opportunity to learn leadership skills, develop professionally, engage in daily decision-making, and cultivate 21st-century skills that are necessary for success in today’s world. Staff also network with other staff and alumni and make connections for a lifetime.

YMCA Camps Sea Gull & Seafarer
YMCA Camp Sea Gull for boys and YMCA Camp Seafarer for girls are overnight camps located on the coast of North Carolina. Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer serve more than 700 campers a week at each site during the summer. Combined with our staff, each camp makes up a welcoming and inclusive overnight camp community. Our camps are also large - more than 350 acres each - with prime coastal waterfront
