YMCA Camp Loma Mar

You and your co-counselor will be directly responsible for 10 campers throughout the week. You will stay in the cabins with the campers and travel with them throughout the dayand faciltate traditional summer camp activities (archery, rock wall, zipline etc..)  making sure they are prepared and have what they need for the day and at the end of the day making sure they are prepared for bed! We do large group games at night and we will be doing the Color Chaos activities (Color Family Competitions) all summer long so get excited! At times you may be running an activity or program with mixed groups of campers.

Campers are to remain supervised at all times, campers are left in our care for a FUN and SAFE experience.

This position is for a Waterfront Coordinator who is responsible for both the pool and creek camp use. Responsibilities include organizing the counselors, providing coverage when needed, and coordinating with other Lead Staff to make camp operate. Their primary focus is pool operations and water safety but they are considered Lead Staff and have the potential to help in other camp areas.
