Bombers Golf Course, situated within the scenic grounds of Wildman Adventure Resort, is seeking a dedicated Lead Golf Course Ranger to join our team. As an integral part of our outdoor adventure resort, the Lead Golf Course Ranger will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf course facility while upholding the high standards of service and safety synonymous with Wildman Adventure Resort. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for golf, exemplary interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences across all aspects of our resort offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Bar Assistance:
  • Provide assistance with purchases from the bar, ensuring efficient service for golfers.
  • Act as a bar back on busy days, supporting bartenders with restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Course Patrol and Rule Enforcement:
  • Conduct regular patrols of the golf course to monitor golfer compliance with course rules and regulations.
  • Enforce rules pertaining to alcohol consumption and golf cart operation to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
  • Offer friendly reminders and guidance to golfers regarding course etiquette and safety protocols.
• Golf Course Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, grass trimming at tee boxes, and upkeep of course amenities, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the golf course.
  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the golf cart fleet, including cleaning, charging, and routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with groundskeeping staff to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks for efficient course management.
• Customer Service:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist golfers with equipment rentals and other needs, providing assistance and guidance to enhance their overall experience at Wildman Adventure Resort.
• Team Leadership:
  • Serve as a positive role model and leader for other golf course staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Provide guidance and training to new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold resort standards and deliver outstanding service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a golf course environment is desirable, with a strong understanding of golf etiquette, rules, and safety practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Basic knowledge of golf course maintenance procedures and equipment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to accommodate the needs of the resort.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to safely operate golf carts and other resort vehicles.
