Horseback Trail Guides
Do you love horses? Or do you want to learn more about caring for and riding horses? We've got just the spot for you! As a horseback trail guide, responsibilities include feeding and caring for a herd of 25 horses, tacking up horses and caring for tack and equipment, leading customers in groups of 2-16 on trail rides around the property (being safety conscious and having strong communication skills are necessary), and cleaning the barn area daily. We are looking for people who have experience with horses, but will accept applicants with a strong desire to learn.
Ropes Course Instructors
As a ropes course instructor, responsibilities include rigging up our ropes course, caring for gear and equipment, ensuring guests are geared up properly and transitioning through the course safely, and encouraging guests to conquer their fears and make it as far as they can through the course. Our ropes course includes a climbing wall, two different elements, a giant swing, and a low ropes (team building course). Prior experience is a plus, but not necessary as we will train!
Paintball Instructors
As a paintball instructor, responsibilities include caring for paintball equipment, ensuring guests are safely participating, and keeping the paintball shop clean. No experience is necessary as we will train!
Office Staff
Office staff responsibilities include communicating with our guests to answer any questions they may have, taking reservations and emailing confirmations, using square to sell products to guests, stocking retail inventory, and cleaning the store. Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
River Guides
As a River Guide, responsibilities include loading and carrying rafts on and off of trailers, safely navigating rafts down class III - IV rapids, and ensuring guests have an amazing time! Training is free and typically takes about 2-3 weeks.
Assistant Camp Director
Daily tasks include scheduling employees for activities, identifying and solving any issues that may arise, ensuring all operations are on time and operating safely, and communicating with guests to ensure we are providing the best customer service. At Whitewater Express, we believe in leading from the front so applicants must be willing to take on any job that we are asking others to do. An applicant for assistant camp director should be hardworking, organized, with excellent problem solving and customer service skills
Ultimate Zone Staff
Lead week long trips with older Boy Scouts focusing on high adventure at our Ocoee and Nantahala locations including horseback riding, ropes course, lots of rafting, hiking on property and parts of the AT. Applicants should be outdoor enthusiasts and energetic about getting others excited about high adventure activities.
