- Under the direction of the Activities Director, maintain staff scheduling to ensure that Guides are available for every activity and staff are present and efficient.
- Partner with the Education Supervisor and Activities Asset Supervisor to ensure Guide capabilities are accurate on the skills matrix and schedule staff on designated projects.
- Coordinate with Reserve Ambassadors to prepare itineraries for the best guest experience and ensure that guiding needs for scheduled itineraries are optimized.
- Ensure revenue is collected for the Activities Department for guided trips per the policies set forth by Vermejo.
- Guide guests on activities as assigned by the Activities Director.
- Work the Activities evening shift to assist with scheduling and guiding changes that arise due to guest preferences.
- Work in the Fish House on tasks as assigned by management which include, but not limited to the following: clean, record, and store fish for guests; wash vehicles; clean debris from trails; assist with weekly meetings and updates; assist Guides in preparation for guided activities.
- Maintain knowledge of the activities offered on the property and assign guest activities to the appropriate Guide.
- Communicate guest feedback to the appropriate department leadership.
- Seek to learn new skills and gain certifications in additional activities offered by the Reserve.
- Adhere to the quality standards and presentation techniques that have been established for Ted Turner Reserves Guides.
- Ensure the highest standards of first aid, safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Line Cook is an integral part of delivering an outstanding guest experience by preparing and cooking food to meet recipe, quality, and presentation standards. These standards, through the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, provide the ultimate culinary experience for the guest. Strong attention to detail, exceptional organization and cleanliness creates an atmosphere of creativity and satisfaction resulting in exclusive creations.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Position requires applicant to live on Vermejo headquarters approximately 40 miles from the closest town. Vermejo’s location is approximately 4.5 hours’ drive south of Denver or 4.5 hours’ drive north of Albuquerque.
Vermejo offers single- and double-bedroom dorm room style company housing (subject to availability).
The employee may be subject to sharing a room with one other employee depending on the availability of a single dorm room.
The nearest town, Raton, NM, is located approximately 1 hour from Vermejo headquarters, and employees will need to provide or arrange for their own transportation to and from Raton for personal supplies.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A culinary degree is not required for this position; however, it is preferred. 2-3 years’ kitchen experience is preferred, 1 year is required. Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
This position requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Employee must be able to read and follow recipes and directions with accuracy and consistency as well as be able to make adjustments for high altitude. The employee must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, co-workers and guests. Bilingualism in Spanish is helpful but is not required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
If position requires operation of a vehicle, the employee must possess a valid Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment. The employee’s driving record must meet the standards and requirements of the Company and the Company's insurance carrier.
