    Food & Beverage

    Front of House Lead

    Valle

    As Food & Beverage Front of House Lead, you will support the Food and Beverage operation through leadership of the front of house team and completing delegated administrative tasks. You will ensure service, brand, and food safety standards are implemented and followed. You will work in the roles of cashier, food runner, barista, bartender, and expeditor. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Expertly execute all front of house tasks and train team on best practices of the operation with a focus on exceptional guest service 

    • Actively maintain guest and team member safety by ensuring all food handling safety and storages protocols and SOPs are implemented and tracked on logs 

    • Ensure a clean and safe workspace through completion of daily and weekly cleaning/deep cleaning checklists tasks 

    • Maintain neat, organized, and safely stored work and storage areas where FIFO is practice 

    • Assist with all inventory practices including ordering, receiving, waste tracking, setting up count sheets, and completing physical inventory counts 

    • Knowledge of all drink recipes and ingredients, food item portions and ingredients, with special attention to allergens 

    • Ensure all guests are cheerfully attended to and that all service standards are followed 

    • Lead by example, maintain composure, take action, and be solution-minded in unpredictable situations such as weather, diverse needs of guests, or incidents on property

    • Food Handler Certification and TIPS card, Food Safety manager certification highly desired

    • Knowledge of basic barista and bartending skills

    • Experience ordering products from set par lists and suggesting adjustments to pars based on business levels

    Facilities

    Facilities Technician 1

    Valle

    As a Facilities Technician, you work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to ensure our glamping location is well-maintained, safe, and operational for our team members and guests. You play an important role in our success by performing daily maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of our tents, amenities, equipment, and property. Depending on the camp location, the nature of work performed will vary from basic upkeep to more technical functions such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. This is a seasonal, hourly position that includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    • Work alongside facilities team members, under the director of the Facilities Manager, on related tasks and in across multiple departments as needed

    As a Line Cook, you are an integral part of our food and beverage program. You will work with other Back of the House team members to deliver on culinary standards in our live fire kitchens. As a Laundry Attendant, you play a critical role in what makes Under Canvas so unique, providing our guests with crisp linens and fresh towels as they sleep under the stars. Reporting to a Laundry Supervisor, you will work with a team of peers to clean and restock linens for a camp location. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes a housing option for the duration of employment.
