    Night Auditor

    As a Night Auditor, you play a critical role in maintaining the camp operations overnight, including serving as the primary point of contact for guests during your shift, and assisting with accounting tasks. We cater to a diverse range of guests including groups, families, and individuals varying in age, interests, and with various degrees of comfort in outdoor elements. Your goal is to ensure our guests have everything they need to relax and enjoy being outside together with family, friends, and nature. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    Facilities

    Camp Facilities Supervisor

    Widtsoe

    Our Facility Supervisors take pride in ensuring our glamping locations are operational, safe, functional, and well-maintained so that our guests can fully utilize and enjoy our amenities, tents, and common areas. Situated just minutes away from the country’s most popular national parks, our locations range in size from 40-100 glamping tents, many of which have their own showers, toilets, and wood burning stoves. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager who leads the department, you are an on-site maintenance expert, helping to oversee, train, and perform maintenance tasks along with the Facilities Team. This is a full-time, seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    • Help oversee, maintain, and perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs to tents, plumbing systems, propane gas water heaters, propane heaters, stove pipes, decks, trailers, vehicles, generators, solar power equipment and more
    • Set direction and work side by side with the Facilities Team, mentoring, modeling performance standards, setting expectations, and holding others accountable
    • Deliver results to meet short and long-term goals based on multiple factors including safety, resources, and direction from the General Manager
    • Supports in strategically building our Facilities team schedule, approval of timecards, and other administrative tasks
    • Attend regular camp-wide meetings with the management team. Lead regular meetings with your team to provide direction, training, and insight when the Facilities Manager is unavailable
    • Inspire the team to be engaged and committed to excellence
    • Inspect what you expect from your team, providing timely, constructive feedback

    • Knowledge in septic, plumbing, wood stoves, propane, gas, electric, and generators preferred

    Key Responsibilities

    Laundry Attendant

    Fresh air, nature, and clean linens! This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors in some of the country’s most popular national parks. As a Laundry Attendant, you play a critical role in what makes Under Canvas so unique, providing our guests with crisp linens and fresh towels as they sleep under the stars. Reporting to a Laundry Supervisor, you will work with a team of peers to clean and restock linens for a camp location. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes a housing option for the duration of employment.

    BOH Supervisor

    As a Back of House Supervisor, you will support the Food and Beverage manager by leading the culinary team and completing delegated administrative tasks. You will ensure food safety protocols and all brand standards are followed. The Back of House Supervisor also serves as a lead cook and/or expediter. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    • Support FBM with team member management through interviewing, scheduling, missed punch adjustments, and coaching conversations

    As Food & Beverage Front of House Lead, you will support the Food and Beverage operation through leadership of the front of house team and completing delegated administrative tasks. You will ensure service, brand, and food safety standards are implemented and followed. You will work in the roles of cashier, food runner, barista, bartender, and expeditor. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Expertly execute all front of house tasks and train team on best practices of the operation with a focus on exceptional guest service 
    • Actively maintain guest and team member safety by ensuring all food handling safety and storages protocols and SOPs are implemented and tracked on logs

Your role is to ensure you and your team of Laundry Attendants provide our teams and guests with the cleanest possible materials that meet the highest standards for our guests to enjoy their stay.     Line Cook

    As a Line Cook, you are an integral part of our food and beverage program. You will work with other Back of the House team members to deliver on culinary standards in our live fire kitchens.     Camp Facilities Technician 1

    As a Camp Facilities Technician, you work closely with the Facilities Supervisor and Manager to ensure our glamping location is well-maintained, safe, and operational for our team members and guests. You play an important role in our success by performing daily maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of our tents, amenities, equipment, and property. Depending on the camp location, the nature of work performed will vary from basic upkeep (Facilities Technician 2) to more technical functions such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (Facilities Technician 1). This is a seasonal, hourly position that includes a housing option for the duration of employment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • General upkeep of tents, plumbing systems, propane gas water heaters, stove pipes, decks, trailers, vehicles, generators, solar power equipment and more
    • Perform day-to-day maintenance and repair work at a camp location consisting of up to 40 -102 high-quality outdoor tents with plumbing, communal structures with showers and toilets, laundry facilities, restaurants, common areas, fire pits, outdoor activities, and equipment
    • Work alongside facilities team members, under the direction of the Facilities Manager, on related tasks and in across multiple departments as needed
    • Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards
    • Other duties as assigned
