    Food & Beverage Manager

    Surry

    This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors close to some of the country’s most popular national parks. The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for all onsite food & beverage operations including, but not limited to, restaurant, bar, micro-market, and specialty coffee. The F&B Manager will forecast, plan, and manage all F&B orders, supervise team members, and track and oversee departmental finances. The goals of the Food & Beverage Manager are to maximize sales and revenue, drive guest satisfaction, and create high levels of employee engagement. The Food and Beverage Manager may serve as a Manager on Duty for the property and should be willing to learn and support all aspects of overall hospitality operation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the development of the food and beverage menus
    • Ensure all team members have required certifications for food and alcohol handling
    • Able to travel for task force work at another location when requested

    Preferred Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 2+ years of Food & Beverage Management experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, preferably in hotels or hospitality
    • Previous culinary experience preferred
    • Knowledge of federal food safety standards and current Food Safety Manager certification required
    • Track record of managing profitability through proper staffing, effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs and achieving budgeted targets
    • Able to consistently interact with a friendly, enthusiastic, positive attitude with guests and team members
    • Willingness to assist in all roles to support the operation and supporting property General Manager– Ex: working the line, processing guest transactions, work as MOD for property
    • Willingness to learn and embrace company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures
    • Willingness to travel to support in Task Force Roles as needed

    Additional Information

    • Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time, including during extreme heat and cold or weather events
    • Able to stand and move for long periods of time
    • Ability to lift 50lbs independently
    • Stand and walk over slippery and/or uneven natural walking surfaces for periods of workday
    • Bending and stooping often

    Facilities

    Camp Facilities Technician 2

    Surry

    As a Facilities Technician, you work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to ensure our glamping location is well-maintained, safe, and operational for our team members and guests. You play an important role in our success by performing daily maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of our tents, amenities, equipment, and property. Depending on the camp location, the nature of work performed will vary from basic upkeep to more technical functions such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. This is a seasonal, hourly position that includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Interact regularly with guests and team members
    • Think critically to respond quickly and effectively to ever changing situations on property
    • Be solutions oriented and proactive in problem solving
    • General upkeep of tents, plumbing systems, propane gas water heaters, stove pipes, decks, trailers, vehicles, generators, solar power equipment and more
    • Perform day-to-day maintenance and repair work at a camp location consisting of up to 80 high-quality outdoor tents with plumbing, communal structures with showers and toilets, laundry facilities, restaurants, common areas, fire pits, outdoor activities, and equipment
    • Work alongside facilities team members, under the director of the Facilities Manager, on related tasks and in across multiple departments as needed
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards

    Preferred Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Minimum one year of experience performing corrective, preventative, or general maintenance and repair work, preferably in customer-focused, outdoor environments, hotels, or hospitality
    • Outdoor enthusiast: ability to work long, flexible hours outdoors in heat and cold
    • Team-player with strong problem-solving skills

    Food & Beverage

    Line Cook

    Surry

    As a Line Cook, you are an integral part of our food and beverage program. You will work with other Back of the House team members to deliver on culinary standards in our live fire kitchens. Working in various stations including grill, sauté, fry, prep, pantry, outdoor pop-up dining experiences, and providing support to the overall operation makes you the heart of the operation. You will keep our guests and team members safe by following food safety and sanitation protocols. Your goal is to work as a team to push out quality dishes to create memorable dining experiences. We cater to a diverse range of guests including groups, families, and individuals varying in age, interests, and with various degrees of comfort in outdoor elements. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

      • Must be obtained within two weeks of start of employment
    • Ability to follow direction

    • Line or grill cook experience preferred but not required
