    Summary:

    Under the supervision of Kitchen Management (Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef) prepares and plates a wide range of cold hot dishes using accepted kitchen techniques and following venue recipe, producing plates with uncompromised food quality.  Stations include saute, grill, fry, garde manger (cold appetizers, salads, desserts). 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties as assigned.

    • Responsible for every aspect of designated dishes.
    • Prepares and organizes "station mise en place" for daily service.
    • Executes assigned dishes to conform with recipe and presentation standards
    • Maintains clean, safe and orderly station
    • Assists other cooks when available.
    • Breaks down station, sanitizes, restocks and participates in overall kitchen clean-up.
    • Prepares daily staff meal.
    • Consistently adheres to all food handling and safety measures
    • Fills out daily prep sheets for following days' service.
    • Works to provide quality and timely execution of dishes to front of house staff for timely and highest level of guest service.
    • Observes and complies with all health codes and sanitation requirements.
    • Operates assigned station as directed by Executive Chef.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:        

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities; however, it is expected that line/station cook will work all members of the kitchen team in mutual support

    Qualifications:

    Assistant Director of Engineering

    $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 / year

    Summary: The Peaks Engineering Assistant Director reports to The Peaks Director of Engineering and assists with or is directed to accomplish, a variety of tasks on a daily basis that will include, but is not limited to specific tasks.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Researching materials and repair and construction alternatives based on repair and maintenance needs and capital needs.
    • Ordering and purchasing of materials as directed.
    • Determines limits and maintains inventories of parts and supplies at adequate levels to ensure materials are on hand.
    • Designs and draws small construction projects based on construction needs and present to Facilities Director.
    • Develops and updates Gantt charts on project planning, progressions and construction schedules and presents to Facilities Director weekly.
    • Develops maintenance and repair schedules for Crew Supervisor based on work load planning to be presented to Facilities Director and Crew Supervisor weekly.
    • Trains and ensures that the Crew Supervisor understands and uses the work order system for all work orders.
    • Updates the work order system, maintains database as well as writes and assigns work orders based on priority.
    • Assists in the develop, implementation, records and ensure that all crew members are trained as needed in all areas of general safety, specific safety, general trainings and departmental trainings maintains and reports status to Director of Engineering on a weekly basis.
    • Recommends safety planning and training based on changes or potential concerns brought by changes in Jobs or changes in safety protocol.
    • Assists in the development of building repair lists and plans for repairs based on budgeting constraints and urgency of need.
    • Attends manager level meetings with Director of Engineering and or in place of the Director as needed.
    • Develops and maintains all records, maps, photos and documents of buildings and projects physically and electronically.
    • Assures that the Crew Supervisor is repairing and constructing projects based on design and budget parameters and reports on any discrepancies to the Director.
    • Maintains Kronos based on budgeting for capital projects.

    Equipment and Tool Operation:

    Education and/or Experience:                                              

    • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
    • Minimum three years of experience in Facilities Maintenance or a similar trade or building construction related field.
    • Experience in conflict resolution when dealing with staff.
    • Basic repair experience preferred in drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lock systems, framing, masonry, A/V systems, fire/life safety systems, boilers, chillers, refrigeration.
    • Certified Pool Operator Certificate, or ability to acquire certificate if offered.

    Summary: Under the direction of and in consultation with TSG Executive Chef, s upervises all aspects of the restaurant kitchen to ensure maximum productivity and food excellence in order to maximize the guest experience. Develops and promotes a positive, safe, team-oriented working environment with uncompromised food quality and service. Oversees all Back of the House activity and staff, and ensures an excellent guest experience by performing the following duties.

    • Oversee daily kitchen operations. (Opening and Closing the kitchen).
    • Orders, receives, stores and prepares food.

    Concierge

    $18.50 / hour

    Summary: Organizing, creating, and facilitating an unforgettable guest experience in Telluride/Peaks Resort.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all guest are communicated, with before arriving to The Peaks.
    • Create partnerships with local restaurants, shuttle services, adventure agencies, and other appropriate services.
    • Assist Front desk agents with late arrivals, early departures, answering phones, taking and delivering wakeup calls, running downtime reports, posting and reconciling charges and generating/ distributing departure folios.
    • Facilitate in creating guest itineraries and experience for the destination.
    • Provide guest with most up to date COVID-19 protocols.
    • Ensure guest Itineraries are completed and accurate before guest arrival.
    • Notify Front Desk of VIP guest arrivals, and ensure that any guest amenities are ready for arrival.
    • Coordinate with the Front Desk on guest satisfaction and potential guest recovery.
    • Perform front desk duties when necessary.
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of all hotel products. 
    • Maintain daily logs for am/pm shifts for concierge team.
    • Ensure guest itineraries are relayed to front desk and notes are created in SMS.

    • Maintain a listing of local transportation guides, churches, sport arenas, etc.
    • Provide hours of operations for all restaurants, lounges and shops within the hotel.

    Summary: Assists in repairing and maintaining lifts and assures the operation and safety of all lifts in accordance with applicable rules and regulations of TSG, The Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board, United States Forest Service, American Standards Institute, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Employee will work primarily under direct supervision and must be willing to work long shifts, weekends and holidays. Follows company policies, procedures, and safety practices.

    Lift Maintenance

    Ski Lift Mechanic Level II

    $23.00 / hour

    Summary: Assures the operation and safety of all lifts in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations of The Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board, United States Forest Service, American National Standards Institute, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.  This is a journey level position and employee will be working under supervision.  The employee may lead a team in a predictive and/or discovery project. Follows company policies, procedures, and safety practices.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Perform all tasks included in the Lift Mechanic I position
    • Maintain all work spaces in a clean/professional fashion.  No project is complete until the mess has been cleaned up.  Keep lift shacks clean and organized, and ALL trash SHALL be removed from lift shacks EVERY DAY.
    • Perform routine and predictive maintenance and inspections on motor rooms, line equipment, and other ski lift components
    • Troubleshoot mechanical ski lift problems
    • Inspect and adjust brakes
    • Perform visual and audible inspections of ski lifts
    • Ensure timely completion of all paperwork, including daily visual, weekly, monthly, summer work, CPTSB paperwork, and training logs.
    • Train Level I mechanics to perform a variety of maintenance tasks
    • Plan all projects using time management, inventory control, and personnel resources.  Plan in advance to have all needed parts to complete a project from start to finish.
    • Assist Level III mechanics in performing a variety of complex maintenance tasks
    • Possess working knowledge of basic heavy rigging. 
    • Upper Level II Mechanics have the ability/responsibility to lead and/or train a crew in a wide variety of basic and intermediate maintenance tasks

    Supervisory Responsibilities:        

    May serve as a team leader to 2-3 employees in the Lift Maintenance. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    Job Summary

    Manage an alpine retail and ski/snowboard rental shop located in Mountain Village, CO.  Store Manager will need to successfully manage a fast-paced retail and rental environment, multitask and manage multiple customers. Lead, mentor and train a staff of 5-10 employees on providing exceptional service to our guests. Store Manager oversees day-to-day functions of all store operations.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    ·         Prepares and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for managed location.

    ·         Train staff on retail and rental operating procedures and processes

    ·         Create a positive team environment

    ·         Maintain rental fleet tunes and ASTM requirements

    ·         Proficient in POS operations including opening/closing procedures and reporting.

    ·         Lead daily operations, monitoring performance and budget including scheduling and payroll

    ·         Maintain administrative responsibilities including training, staffing, budgeting and reporting

    ·         Maintain daily store records for performance, sales metrics, inventory control and equipment rentals (if applicable)
