Live and Work in the National Forest

Steamboat Inn is offering a full time, seasonal positions at 42705 North Umpqua Hwy Idleyld Park, OR 97447. The official season ends November 28, 2024. 

Paydays are on the 5th and 20th of every month with hourly rate to be discussed based on position. Additionally, the staff also receives a share of cash tips at the end of each shift they work and a portion of house tips on their paychecks (rate based on hours - usually $1.50-$3.00 per hour additional). As part of the compensation, we also provide no cost furnished staff housing and utilities.

We are located in the Umpqua National Forest right on the North Umpqua Trail on the river. We are near waterfalls, hot springs, lakes, and Crater Lake National Park. Onsite staff need to have their own vehicles to go to town (about 40 miles) and to explore the area on their days off. Staff housing is one mile from the main lodge. Pets are not allowed in staff housing. Staff housing is shared with other seasonal employees.  Common areas are shared, rooms are private.  Couples are welcome.
