Shenandoah covers 300 square miles of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the southern Appalachians. Bursting with scenery, wildlife, history, and recreation, the Shenandoah River flows through the valley to the west. More than 500 miles of trail crisscross the park, including 101 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
