The Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is seeking Ride Operators employees.  The park will train an enthusiastic team player to work the gondolas, the zipline, the sky coaster, and the carousel.  This is a physical position that requires an individual who is comfortable with moderate to heavy lifting, climbing ladders and stairs, reaching, pulling, and stretching, and working with hundreds of guests per day who are on vacation. Must be 18 years of age or older. 

Essential functions and responsibilities: (This list is not all-inclusive.)

• Able to perform or be trained on all Royal Gorge Bridge & Park attractions,
• Good communication and customer service skills,
• Follow all safety procedures,
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people, instruct groups, enforce procedures,
• Able to work weekends.
• Need to pass drug and background screen.

Hourly Wage: $15.99 - $16.33 (plus tips when working Via Ferrata only)

Perfect summer job for those in college, or those looking for a seasonal adventure in Colorado.  The views and beauty of the area are incredible.  The summer season starts May 1 and goes through Labor Day, and we understand if employees need to leave in August for school.   The park is open year round and the park hires for all seasons if an employee does want to stay longer.  Work in one of the most beautiful places in the world, and Colorado! 

The park is located 10 miles to the West of Canon City and will need your own transportation to get to work.  The park opens at 9 am daily, with rides open at 10 am daily.  During the summer season, the park closes at 7 pm. 

For housing, dorm-style rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and need to be reserved in advance at the Holy Cross Abbey, Canon City, CO, at $425 to $450 per month.
