FREE TRAINING! On-Site Housing Provided - $$$ Referral Bonus! We do not require guides to be experienced when they come to us. We will provide training to enable you to develop the necessary skills and teamwork needed to guide a safe and enjoyable commercial rafting trip. Senior guides will act as mentors and evaluators during your training period during which you will develop your "river sense". Training is unpaid but at no cost. Upon completion of your training, we expect you to inspire confidence and provide encouragement when needed - on and off the river. Rolling Thunder's office and reservation assistants are often the first contact for our guests. It is crucial that you be enthusiastic and knowledgeable in order to facilitate their trip plans. A good telephone voice is essential. Basic computer skills are necessary. You are expected to be punctual and dependable. You must be able to effectively handle a hectic pace in the office while giving cheerful, tireless service to our guests.
