Getting Here and Getting Around
GETTING HERE: Steamboat offers the remoteness of the Colorado Rockies, but is easily accessible thanks to Yampa Valley Regional Airport. Just 24 miles west of Steamboat, the airport services non-stop and connecting flights from points nationwide and internationally. If you fly into Denver International Airport, Steamboat is 170 miles northwest. Ground transportation to and from Denver is available through Go Alpine Taxi (970) 879-2800.
GETTING AROUND: The City of Steamboat Springs provides excellent, reliable, free public bus service in and around town. Or, enjoy the Yampa Core Trail, our walking and bike path system that is unprecedented for a small community. It winds along the river where you're sure to see wildlife, anglers, and water enthusiasts. Ride your bike everywhere! A car really isn't necessary.

- Supervise the daily operation of the facility. Current hours of operation for the facility will be 8:00a.m. until 9:00p.m. during winter season, 8:00a.m. until 8:00pm in the summer season, and 8:00a.m. until 6:00p.m. in the spring and fall when the facility is open. Scheduled work hours are flexible, Operating hours are subject to change.
- Ensure that equipment, pool, hot tub, other amenities, and common areas are kept in first class condition at all times.
- Ensure public areas are fully operational and kept safe and hazard-free for guests, employees, and owners at all times.
- Hire and train staff according to operational directives.
- Status reports and other communication surrounding the progress of any capital or repair project shall be provided to the SMAG board and general manager of Storm Meadows in a timely manner.
- Control access to the facility for members and guests only.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair functions to the facility around high occupancy periods to minimize any impact to guests and owners.
- Assist in the preparation of an annual report on the condition of the facility and attend the annual SMAG owners meeting to provide the report and answer related questions.
- Implement any changes as directed by the SMAG board of directors regarding massage quarters, concierge duties, towel stock, laundry procedures, etc.
- Supervise staff to assist you in these functions within the financial parameters of the annual SMAG budget as described in the attached schedule.
- Daily supervision of larger projects including performing any inspection fieldwork necessary to complete and coordinating with maintenance managers when help is needed with capital projects.
- Consolidate similar projects that will require outside labor in an effort to minimize these costs. Supervise and follow up on any outside contractor work performed in our managed units including the submitting of their final invoices in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with local vendors and contractors to facilitate quick response and favorable pricing.
- Implement and maintain a system to alert Owners to projects as they arise. Provide updates until completion.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, while never sacrificing safety.
- Take property inspection on a regular basis to assure quality of work being completed.
- Inspect completed work for conformance to reasonable specifications and standards and hold vendors accountable to address any deficiencies.
- Interpret company policies to workers, monitor and enforce safety regulations.
- Responsible for hiring as necessary to operate facility. Hiring and firing functions of staff as well as scheduling. Working with HR to accomplish such tasks.
- Maintain a pleasant and efficient working atmosphere with all staff members through open lines of communication.

Summary: Records payments, invoices, and billing to accounts, maintains AP/AR records and supports accounting divisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Duties may vary by division; other duties may be assigned.
Processes checks by entering information daily into accounting system, balances entries and ensures proper bank deposits are completed.
Processes timesheets, invoices, owner bills, and other AR and AP transactions by following departmental processes and procedures to ensure authorization, coding, and recording of such transactions are completed timely in order to support other essential accounting functions.

A swimming pool technician should make sure that the water is clean and safe for guests at designated hours. He/she should service and maintain swimming pools, spas and hot tubs on the premises.
The technician would also install and service water cleaning, filtering and purification equipment which is used for maintaining the pools. Additionally, the pool technician maintains the pool area in a clean, orderly fashion while assuring all pool safety rules and regulations are in place.
All aspects of the pool area should be maintained including but not limited to: bodies of water, pool furniture, weeds, pool area access gates, pool structures, mechanical rooms, and patio / deck areas.
Swimming Pool Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
· Diagnoses, repairs and maintains swimming pools, water spas, filter systems, and pumps.
· Maintains the proper chemical balance for every pool.
· Maintains the pH and chlorine values for good water quality.
· Maintains the pools, spas, and in-unit spas using proper chemicals and cleaners.
· Maintains the pool areas including cleaning of the deck, and organizing patio furniture.
· Responds to swimming pool related work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery or equipment.
· Repairs and maintains electrical and mechanical equipment.
· Transports and stores hazardous chemicals. Following OSHA guidelines and utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
· Carries out scheduled water cleaning, using chemicals like chlorine.
· Maintains manual records of all activities and prepares daily / weekly / monthly reports.
· Picks up trash around common pool area and unit patios.
· Operates and inspects tools and equipment and makes minor adjustments and repairs.
· Cleans and services swimming pool filtration units.
· Services heating, circulation and de-humidifier systems.
· Fixes lights above and below water level.
· Uses swimming pool vacuum cleaners to clean the pool floor.
· Checks and repairs corrosion, cracks and leaks in the pool walls or floors.
· Uses a telescopic pole with net to clean and remove any leaves, or debris.
· Makes sure equipment like pool covers, hot tub covers, and slides are in good working order.
· Cleans all vents in pool areas regularly.
· Logs, reports, and communicates in a timely manner equipment faults or water quality problems to managers.
· Organizes pool furniture every morning according to the established layout for common area pool and private patios.
· Removes grass and/or other weeds from unit patios around hot tubs
Prerequisites:
Must be efficient, organized, personable, poised and well groomed. Must have experience in pool, and spa chemical use, chemical level testing, pump, equipment maintenance, pool plumbing and all other related items.
Education:
High School or Diploma holder. CPO certified a plus, but will train the right person.
Experience:
1 to 2 Years work experience on similar role or ability to perform scope of work on hospitality environment.
