About Pine Point Lodge & Resort
What would it be like working one of our seasonal jobs which run from the end of April through mid-October? If you already live in MN you know how fun and beautiful it is! Out of state applicants are welcome! We are on the border of Canada, boundary waters, and Voyageurs National Park, so there will be no shortage of beauty and adventure. Wages are $2,500 per month plus tips and bonuses! Housing and meals provided at no charge! This is more than just a summer job. Living and working here represents an experience of a lifetime. It is an opportunity to learn a variety of skills, develop a strong work ethic and it can be a place to learn and grow.
Your experience at Pine Point can help enhance your future goals for employment in outdoor recreation, hotel/motel management, and other business opportunities in general. A sense of ownership grows from the commitment of working and maintaining our high standards of service. From the camaraderie and friendships that grow and from our commitment to provide the best quality experience for our guests in a setting that is beyond compare.
Staff members work both the lodging and dock side of the business and sometimes work different positions during the course of the workweek. Before the guests arrive in the middle of May, we begin training and getting staff familiarized with our Resort operations, cleaning, prepping boats and motors, lawn maintenance, and finishing projects. After they leave, in the beginning of October, we are busy shutting down the cottages and preparing the boats for the cold winter ahead.
A desire to be part of something bigger than one's self and enjoying the process of making it happen for our guests and for yourself. An opportunity of a lifetime! Live the dream! We are!

Getting Here and Getting Around
Pine Point Lodge is about 4 hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 1 ½ hours from the nearest airports located in either Hibbing or International Falls, MN. Please feel free to contact us about transportation needs.
Even though we're somewhat remote, we're easily accessible. However, if you feel the need to be close to the shopping mall and must have city life, this job is not for you. The end of the road is about 1 mile by boat. The nearest town, population 350, is ½ hour one-way by car. The nearest shopping mall would be 1 ½ hours, one way by car. Our location has access, by boat, into Voyageur’s National Park, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Canada.
For Fun
Find yourself going up lake to a secluded beach or hiking trail, taking a 30 mile boat trip to Kettle Falls, Ash River, Elsworth Rock gardens and other area attractions. Voyageurs National Park is a short boat ride away. Fishing is a must! Photograph some of the oldest rock formations in the world! Or jump off of the cliffs. We are deemed a dark sky area so the big dipper, Orion, and other constellations plus the northern lights and milky way are seen throughout the summer! There is so much! It's your playground, have fun!
