Parchers Resort, South Lake Landing and Lake Sabrina Boat Landing are located in the stunning Inyo National Forest adjacent to the John Muir Wilderness above 9,000 feet in elevation in the beautiful Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains near Bishop California. Fishing, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and photography are just a few of the activities employees can enjoy on their time off.

We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic, outdoorsy folks to help us provide an unforgettable experience for our cabin guests, boat rental customers and cafe patrons. Free housing is provided for the right applicants. We don’t typically hire staffers for a specific job, we work as a team and everyone pitches in. Don't expect to do one task, all day, every day. Expect to do a variety of things such as clean cabins, work at the boat docks, work in the store/reservation office, do the dishes, help with food prep, and perform light maintenance tasks on any given workday. Making sure our guests have a clean, safe, & comfortable place to stay and play is our top priority and to that end, even though staffers tend to gravitate to the jobs they are best suited for, whatever tasks need to be done is what our team does.

This work requires active people with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things and who take pride in their work regardless of how menial the task. This can be a dirty job - if you're squeamish and can't handle cleaning toilets or disposing of fish guts, this probably isn't for you. This is a great job for people who want to work and play alongside other fun outdoor-oriented people in one of the most spectacular places anywhere. Work hard as a team, play hard on your off time.

A passion for the outdoors is an absolute must. Experience hiking, fishing, backpacking or boating is helpful. Knowledge of the Eastern Sierra is helpful but not required. Experience working in hospitality including housekeeping, food service, vehicle rentals or reservations is very helpful but is not required. Couples have not excelled in this fast paced team oriented environment. Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs and be capable of doing physically demanding work at high elevations as the resort is in the forest at 9,260ft.

  • $1000 bonus for completing a full season (start date in mid to late May through close in October).
  • 25% Off tackle, food, clothing, gifts and grocery items in our stores.
  • Use of our motorboats & kayaks during off hours.
  • Food & beverage discounts at some of our neighboring businesses.
  • Incredible back yard featuring 5 trailheads, 4 roadside lakes, 50 backcountry lakes, exceptional trout fishing, and even golf, disc golf, and world class rock climbing in the area and team members who know where, when, and. how to enjoy them.

Sorry, NO PETS. No hard drugs. No H2B applicants.
