Expect to get back to nature, make lasting friendships, earn valuable career experience, and—best of all—have lots of fun!
Ideal Candidate
An ideal candidate is considering a career in the hospitality industry but does not have to have extensive experience. A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed are important traits.

Housing is bunk-style living. All meals are included!
Employee Perks
Because we are located in one of the prettiest vacationlands of the country, not far from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, full days off can be a mini-vacation. The staff enjoys wifi in our staff lounge as well as access to a fitness center. They are offered some transportation to local towns and activities on their days off, so there are many opportunities to explore the exceptional local sites.
Staff will also have access to the incredible diversity of activities offered by our nearby summer camp, which sits on a beautiful lake, including a vibrant waterfront with waterskiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, sailing, kayaking, and canoeing.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Most staffers travel by bus or plane to the city of Bangor, Maine, from where we offer direct van transportation to the resort. Driving to the Oakland House, however, can be the easiest and most enjoyable option. If you have access to a car and are undecided about whether to bring it to camp, our advice is to bring it! There is plenty of parking available, and having a vehicle will provide you with greater freedom during your time off.
For Fun
