Join our dynamic volunteer team at Dharma Publishing using modern tools to promote visionary teachings and Buddhist classics!
We are especially dedicated to promoting the books and teachings of our founder, Tarthang Tulku, which range from Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga to Skillful Means (work as personal and spiritual growth) to the visionary Time, Space, and Knowledge teachings to Understanding Self and Mind.
We are looking for one or more individuals with skills or interest in these areas: e-commerce marketing, SEO, Amazon advertising, public relations, videography, video editing; audio recording/podcasts, general computer skills, and shipping.
What you don’t know, we will help you learn.
We work together flexibly, helping each other to succeed, doing what needs to be done. Even if you have one main task or orientation, you will have opportunities to do many things and to learn more.
Potential DP team members should:
Be interested in personal growth through work and daily activity
Be reliable and self-motivated
Be flexible and cooperative
This is a full-time residential volunteer opportunity with a minimum 6 month commitment, although many of our volunteers stay for a year or more. DP volunteers live in shared housing with the volunteers of Yeshe De Text Preservation Project and the retreat center, and join them in maintaining and beautifying Ratna Ling once a week in Community Work activities, and in being assigned kitchen cleanup shifts.
Perks:
- Free housing
- Free vegetarian meals, coffee/tea
- Free WIFI
- $200 monthly stipend
- Free onsite and online classes are available before and after work in Kum Nye (Tibetan meditative yoga), meditation, self-development, and Buddhist studies. Schedules and available subjects vary
