The North Shore Resort Company on Lake Superior is seeking a seasonal full time Summer Kayak Guide. As a Summer Guide at Superior Shores, you will lead and/or instruct Sea Kayaking to our guests on the beautiful Lake Superior. Our programs serve couples, families, children, and retired adults vacationing here on the North Shore.  Summer Kayak Guiding staff work an average of 40 hours per week from early May through October, weather permitting. The first two weeks of summer consist of training, including ACA Sea kayaking course assessments, luxury hospitality training, safety training, and lots of kayak practice. This is followed by approximately 17 weeks of programming.

All training is paid, and staff housing is available upon request. We launch from our own pebble beach into the lake, so no portage is required. This is a full-time job, so if no kayaking trips we will not send you home early. We expect you to plug in to serve the guest as needed.
