Babysitter
Responsible for children,0-5 years old. High level of energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love of children required. Must have ability to lead children through a variety of planned activities including lead around horseback walking, fishing, hiking, arts and crafts. Willing to get “down and dirty” with the kids. Must closely supervise their activities and safety for a routine schedule, including having lunch and dinner with them. On weeks when we do not have children 5 years of age or under the babysitter will assist in cabin cleaning and food prep.
Housekeeper/ Server
Our cabin staff are responsible for expert and very detailed cabin cleaning, doing ranch laundry, keeping the laundry area clean and organized, and any additional tasks as needed for maintaining good customer service associated with guest comfort. Will assist in the kitchen and around the ranch when cleaning duties are fulfilled. This position also serves 1-2 meals each day.
Chore Person
The choreman position is responsible for a variety of tasks including town trips for shopping, shuttling guests to/from airport, landscaping and ground maintenance, keeping woodbins stocked, hauling trash and any tasks needed to provide a clean, appealing and safe ranch experience for our guests. Experience preferred in several skills such as basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, vehicle maintenance and general ranch operations. Ability to be flexible and act immediately as circumstances arise. Willing to perform other maintenance duties as assigned. Must have good driving record as you will be driving ranch vehicles. Experience with horses not required but a willing attitude a must, plus excellent people skills working with adults, teens and children.
Dining Room Attendant
This position provides an excellent dining experience for our guests by serving meals and maintaining a clean dining hall and lounge, We are looking for an individual with strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail. The head server will manage assistant servers during meal times. Able to serve 40-60 people at a time with help of assistant servers. Also may assist in kitchen as needed, helping with dish washing, and food preparation (salads, appetizers, etc.).
Fly Fishing Guide
Avid fly fishing and excellent people skills required. The ability to work with all of our guests giving instructions and lessons. You will be responsible for organizing groups and private fishing trips in various outdoor settings. If not fishing you will be expected to help out in other departments. Must have good driving record as you will be driving ranch vehicles. Our fly fishing guide will assist our guests and provide an excellent fishing experience including casting lessons and general instruction for beginners, recommending and selling flies, maintaining loaner equipment, hosting fishing trips on the Taylor Fork, Gallatin and Madison rivers. First aid and CPR training required. Must have prior fly fishing experience.
Kiddie Wrangler
Taking children 6 - 9 on trail rides. Also eats lunch and dinner with them and entertains the children after dinner. See additional qualifications on the Wrangler position.
Kitchen Team Member
Our kitchen staff is responsible for meal preparation, dishwashing, maintaining a clean, well-organized kitchen, and ordering supplies and equipment for serving our guests 3 hot meals daily. The kitchen assistant/dishwasher will work split duties between part-time food prep and part-time dishwashing. Kitchen responsibilities are directed by the Head Cook.
Maintenance
Kitchen Relief
This position rotates through other kitchen positions to provide relief for others' days off. As the "relief" position, you will hold:
1 day as food prep assistant, 1 day as dishwasher, 1 day as head server, 1 day as baker, and 1 day will vary as to the task at hand.
Baker/Breakfast Manager
This position manages the execution of the guest and staff breakfast each morning as well as any baking needs for the meal service & acts as the assistant manager in the kitchen. Must be able to work with other team members, and be able to direct others on small tasks and be comfortable with early mornings. Strong management and organizational skills are essential to success in this position.
Wrangler
Horse experience required. Must be safety conscious, have the ability to instruct guests and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Responsible for conducting safe trail rides for groups of all ridding levels. Maintain and repair tack. Clean barn and arena area daily. Willing to perform other maintenance duties as assigned including feeding, trail maintenance, fencing, etc. Willing to work long hours. CPR and First Aid required. Must have good driving record as you may be driving ranch vehicles. Required to have neat and clean appearance, and dress in western style. Cowboy hat, cowboy boots, and collared shirts required.
