JOB SUMMARY
Join the NOC team as a Housekeeper in the beautiful Nantahala Gorge. As a Housekeeper at NOC, you will work with a small team to ensure that our guest, lodging and office areas are clean, tidy and up-kept on a daily basis. Being a service department, a positive attitude to guests, contract service providers and staff is important to remaining good rapport and service.
This is a seasonal role. We are searching for candidates who can work a flexible schedule including mornings, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Give exceptional customer service and a smile to all guests and staff
- Clean cabins, bunk houses and motel rooms, including but not limited to: furniture, beds, toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, kitchen equipment, dishes, walls, floors and ceilings.
- Clean all public restrooms, changing rooms, conference rooms, staff restrooms and offices.
- Work with other departments on any special requests for groups or conferences.
- Work efficiently and effectively to complete daily tasks
- Notify Housekeeper Manager about supply and linen needs
- Report any maintenance items to Repair and Maintenance or to Housekeeper Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop and twist
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
- Dependable and timely
- Ability to work flexible hours and various days of the week.
- Ability to sustain productive work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional people skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
