Migis Lodge is a secluded destination resort and a unique Maine vacation experience located in South Casco, ME. We are Maine's Premiere Full American Plan resort and our guests at Migis Lodge enjoy all activities and 3 meals each day - inside our Main Dining Room, lakeside at Cookout Point, or on our private island! Migis Lodge is seeking a motivated F&B Supervisor for our dynamic resort.
A successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, lead by example, have the ability to inspire others to work as a team and possess a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. This candidate will also enjoy working in the outdoors as needed. They will be held to a high standard to provide memorable experiences for our guests, while being exemplary leaders in hospitality.
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week, some nights and weekends required. MOD duties as assigned.
Compensation: $800-$900 per week, depending on experience + additional 7% incentive payment.

Experience: Prior experience in food & beverage service is necessary. Supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of fine, casual and banquet dining styles, proper food and beverage service, basic cooking techniques, current health codes and liquor laws is preferable.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supervision of Front of House operations in a range of food and beverage service environments (main dining room, cookout point, bar, and banquet and event spaces) in support of or in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager/Assistant Manager. They will work in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager & Assistant Manager to create memorable experiences for our guests, to meet and exceed expectations, and to build relationships while driving profitability.
Dining Room Server
Migis Lodge on Sebago Lake is looking for Dining Room Servers for our seasonal resort.Flexible working hours!!! Each season we hire staff members who are willing to work hard to provide great guest service and to help us provide an idyllic vacation experience. As a Dining Room server, you will be working a combination of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner shifts. We offer three meals daily with indoor and outdoor options. We offer full and part-time seasonal employment for dining room servers. This is a great opportunity to learn the skills required to be a successful server, which will give you skill which can be transferred to future jobs. This position helps you grow your teamwork, communication, and patience skills. Pastry Assistant
Work and play on Sebago Lake. Vibe out in the mornings listening to music or favorite podcast while baking that morning's pastries, desserts for lunch and knocking out production for the day. Or spend your evenings in the exciting hustle and bustle of dinner service, plating desserts and thinking fast on your feet to make a special request for a guest happen! We are looking for a person with a positive attitude, who can multitask, is a skilled baker and loves what they do! The bakeshop is an energic, lively, fast paced place to work. We are a from scratch bakery with a rotating menu that changes daily. (Don't worry, it's a set menu that starts over again on Sundays). You will gain experience in buffet work by helping to create menus, styling desserts, and building buffet displays, run buffets for events, work on event cakes, wedding cakes, high volume production in pastries, desserts, and breads. We are seasonal and a great place to build a well-rounded experience for your resume. You will have a set schedule with 2 days off in a row and opportunities to get a bonus at the end of the season!

Front Desk / Guest Services

Are you a people person? Do you like to greet people with a smile? Are you detail oriented and able to multi-task? Are you able to listen carefully and with empathy? Are you quick on your feet? All of these are great characteristics for a Front Desk Associate/Guest Service Agent. Greet guests, assist with check in and check out, collect payments, track purchases and room charges, answer telephone and email inquiries, learn to operate our reservations system software, balance a cash drawer, edit menus as well as prepare daily arrival and departure information to distribute to all departments. The Front Desk staff are like the conductors leading the orchestra of other resort departments to ensure that our guests have an experience which exceeds their expectations!

You will work as part of a small team behind our open concept front desk, learning and being exposed to many aspects of running Maines finest Full American Plan lakeside resort. Line Cook
Migis Lodge in South Casco, ME seeks a Line Cook for our May - October 2024 season. Join the Team at Maine's premiere Full American Plan Resort, where we have been serving top notch meals for over 100 years! Do you love the look of a juicy grilled steak? A piece of fish that will melt in the mouth of a guest? A perfectly presented plate? If so then our Line Cook position might be for you! Our Line Cooks are responsible for preparing mis en place for their station, to prepare foods according to Chef's instructions, to understand guest orders and perfectly plate an efficient so meals may be expedited to the Dining Room. Working as part of a team, your shift will include either Breakfast/Lunch service or Dinner Service at Maine's premiere lakeside Full American Plan Resort. From set up to clean up you will be responsible for producing the tasty food that our guests have enjoyed as part of their vacation experience for over 107 years! Line Cook candidates must be good listeners, have knowledge of food preparation techniques, understand food allergies and safe food handling, have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Hot Line Cook will be responsible for the preparation and execution of meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products. Line Cook applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar caliber restaurant on the hot line. They should possess a sense of urgency and a drive to serve the best quality seasonal product. Proper organization and sanitation skills are a must. Servesafe certified a plus. Compensation BOE.
Preparation of food to be served complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, following established food production programs and procedures. Work closely with Executive Chef/Sous Chef to help guarantee our guests a dining experience which exceeds their expectations.
Garde Manger
The Chef Garde Manger at Migis Lodge will assist the Executive Chef (EC) to oversee all aspects of Migis cold food cuisine, maintaining or exceeding standards of quality and efficiency, and fostering a working environment conducive to learning and leadership development. Kitchen Manager
Join the Team at Maine's premiere Full American Plan Resort, where we have been serving top notch meals for over 100 years! Waterski/Wakeboard Instructor & Boat Driver
Imagine spending the summer with the wind whipping through your hair and enjoying sunny days out on Sebago Lake! Do you have previous experience wakeboarding and waterskiing? Do you have experience driving a waterski boat? Have you ever taught others to waterski and wakeboard? Do you look great with a tan? Consider applying for one of our Waterski instructor positions at Migis Lodge! You will contribute to the overall success of Migis Lodge's most popular activity by ensuring the efficient, effective, and safe operation of the waterski program at the resort. You will provide waterski, wakeboard, and kneeboard instruciton for guests young and old. You will be responsible for maintaining the scheduling of waterskiing. You will be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and storage of all equipment as well as for our brand new Nautique ski boat.

Groundskeeper/Waterfront
Are you looking to work outside? Would you like to work with a lake view? Do you know a thing-or-two about boats, canoes, and kayaks? Then our Waterfront/Groundskeeper position might be just right for you! Our Groundskeepers are responsible for maintenance of our waterfront areas including docks, beaches, and lounge chairs, as well as maintaining and providing basic assistance to our guests in using our boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle-boards. Groundskeepers also assist with light maintenance tasks, maintaining our walking trails and disc golf course, as well as helping us create our quintessential Migis wood stacks! Morning (6:30 am to 2:30 pm) and Afternoon (10 am to 6 pm) shifts available. This has been a great first job for local applicants, which has lead to growth within our Resort!

Position Summary:
Contribute to the overall success of Migis Lodge by attending to the waterfront, lawns, and other grounds and amenities under the supervision and coordination of the Head of Maintenance.
Cabin Steward/Valet
Do you like working outside? Are you a people pleaser? Are you able to complete tasks unsupervised and independently? If you are interested in learning about almost every aspect of working in hospitality, our Cabin Steward position is for you! Cabin Stewards are responsible for meeting & greeting newly arrived guests, assisting them with luggage, and providing an orientation to the resorts property and amenities. In addition, Cabin Stewards are responsible for daily cottage services including laying fires, filling wood boxes, delivering fresh ice and glassware, cleaning cottage porches, and providing light maintenance services. Cabin Stewards interact with all levels of Resort management, as well as most other department employees, so the position will provide an opportunity to gain real insight into the operation of Maine's premiere lakeside Full American Plan resort.

This position requires an outgoing personality, strong attention to detail and the ability to work without constant direct supervision. This job is for candidates who like being on their feet and who think quickly on their feet. Past Cabin Stewards favorite part of the job is being able to be outside all day enjoying interacting with guests and working under the pines along the shores of beautiful Sebago Lake. You will be an ambassador, a problem solver, a smiling face, and an answer center for our guests. You will have the chance to form bonds with guests as part of your frequent daily interactions.
