Lodge Manager

Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge is a remote and beautiful mountain retreat in the majestic Chugach Mountains of Alaska. The lodge offers amazing cuisine, lodging in 21 rooms and cabins, and a sought-after wedding venue during the summer months, as well as first class backcountry helicopter skiing during the winter months.

Majestic Valley Lodge is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to supervise all summer operations.  Full time in Alaska from May 15 - September 15, with the potential of remaining on as Lodge Manager for the heliski season which runs February-April.   Part time remote work could be available immediately!

The Lodge Manager’s duties include but are not limited to:

• Wedding coordination, planning, scheduling - and the ability of making everything perfect!
• Scheduling and supervising a staff of 8-10 people for housekeeping, serving, bartending, dishwashing, maintenance, set-up, etc.
• Guest Relations - don't apply if you can't be that person! 
• Managing Tour Group reservations and needs
• Maintaining the smooth operation of the lodge, its facilities, infrastructure, services, and functions
• Purchasing and maintaining vendor relationships
• Providing a welcoming lodge environment for our customers with high standards of service, meals, and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe, harmonious, enjoyable workplace environment for staff

Specific Skills Required:

• Previous Hotel/Lodge/F&B management experience
• Basic computer/office skills
• Multitasker
• Ability to work both individually and on a team
