Getting food to the people is the goal! General deli prep, stocking, and some food serving is how this position makes sure no one goes hungry. Some kitchen experience is appreciated but not required.
Sales is the name of the game. This position involves working with vendors, placing orders, stocking, dusting, and knowing what sells. Retail experience is required, as is a dynamic personality and leadership skills. Take ownership of the general store part of the Mercantile!
Note: This is a 5 day per work week position with bonus opportunity.
This position is in the middle of everything. Literally. You may help the lead baker by wrapping hot sandwiches, glazing the product, and washing dishes; you also brew the coffee! A positive attitude, the ability to multitask, and an artistic flare make all the difference in this fast-paced position.
An eye for detail. A passion for making things look just right. Ability to refold and the same stack of shirts everyday and not lose your mind. If this sounds like you, our retail/stocker position might be right up your alley. Ability to work independently and quickly are a must for this position.
Are you good with people? Proficient at mathematics? No problem standing on your feet for ten hours? This is a fast paced job that is for the most extroverted of folks.
This position also includes store opening duties for morning cashier and store closing duties for the evening shift.
You connect the bakery to the lead cashier, and are the master of determining what baked goods are on display, a love of coffee and smiles are a must for this position, and in the busy season you will be running your own till.
Doing what needs to be done to get the job done is the job description for this one. Bakery prep, deli prep, making pizza, cutting cookies, stocking, and dishes. You get it done and go home. No baking experience is required for this position, but knowing your way around a kitchen or being a darn quick learner is a must.
Mixing doughs, making savory rolls, stocking the walk-in and keeping the customers happy is the name of the game. You won't be running ovens, but you will be making the product that goes in the oven. This is a job for a team player who has at least 1 year experience in a commercial bakery/kitchen setting.
This is a position for experienced bakers who love and are masters of their craft, and it involves running the oven, and being a shift lead.

We offer three types of housing: camping, individual, and shared. Camping spaces with hookups available—bring your RV or van! Individual and shared housing varies, with communal kitchen and bathroom spaces. Couples housing consists of an individual room. Pets are possible with prior approval.

Facility fee includes housing, showers, laundry access, shift meal, internet, and utilities. Each work shift includes a work meal. Quiet hours are 10PM-7AM with very quiet hours from midnight- 5AM.
At the intersection of scenic highways MT 49 & US 89, the Kyiyo Mercantile & Bakery is 12 miles from the towns of Browning and East Glacier. This true crossroads provides access to some of the best trails Glacier National Park has to offer: 17 miles from the Two Medicine entrance, 23 miles from the St. Mary entrance, and 8 miles from the Cut Bank entrance. A vehicle is necessary to enjoy the region.
Whether it be mountain biking, hiking, or sitting around a campfire, some of the best outdoor recreation can be found at your doorstep. While the west of Glacier National Park attracts the most visitors, the east side is known for offering the best hiking in the park—incredible opportunities for backpacking and day hikes in scenery that you will find nowhere else!
