We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and 3+ years of experience in automotive or industrial equipment repair. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on diesel engines
- Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems and make necessary repairs
- Perform brake repairs, transmission repairs, and other engine-related tasks
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel engines
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various engine components
- Experience with automotive or industrial equipment repair is highly desirable (minimum 3+ years)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of electrical systems in diesel engines is a plus
- Familiarity with suspension systems and the ability to dig into complex mechanical issues
- CDL
- Welding
- Painting (desirable)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
