Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and 3+ years of experience in automotive or industrial equipment repair. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on diesel engines
• Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems and make necessary repairs
• Perform brake repairs, transmission repairs, and other engine-related tasks
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel engines
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various engine components
• Experience with automotive or industrial equipment repair is highly desirable (minimum 3+ years)
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Knowledge of electrical systems in diesel engines is a plus
• Familiarity with suspension systems and the ability to dig into complex mechanical issues
• CDL
• Welding
• Painting (desirable)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
