Are you looking for an awesome summer work experience in a remote location? Come to Northwestern Alaska and enjoy the beautiful mountain views, amazing history, and soak in the natural hot springs all summer long as the new Pilgrim Hot Springs caretaker.

The Caretaker will work to make sure Pilgrim is kept safe & clean, greet guests visiting the site, and help out with other onsite projects, all while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Pilgrim Hot Springs. You will be provided housing - a small cabin with wood stove, appliances (refrigerator and stove), and power on demand (generator or solar PV). A small shower house with on-demand water heater is also provided for the caretakers. Your main tasks will be to provide safety and security to the property, known locally as Pilgrim Hot Springs. The caretaker will greet daytime visitors, accept payments and provide day passes, keep a guest log, and check-in all overnight guests and campers. You will also be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and overall site maintenance. There is internet access available onsite, at most times. Must be comfortable in a remote setting, be able to respond to basic wildlife or first aid scenarios, and be comfortable with adverse weather conditions and summertime bugs (mainly, mosquitoes!).
