Seeking a highly motivated, dynamic culinary professional for a busy high profile award winning Lodge in Island Park, Idaho. Must be willing to assist on the "hot" side in addition to being responsible for all of the baking responsibilities at the Lodge.
The Henry's Fork Lodge, one of the country's finest fly-fishing lodges, is a seasonal Lodge (May 15 through October 15, 2024) serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to both our Lodge guests and outside reservations (dinner only). This position will be responsible for independently planning and executing a daily-changing dessert menu of 3 to 4 options and working with the chef on duty to assist with breakfast, prep-work, nightly hors d'oeuvres, and plating.
Duties:
- Creating pastry presentations that are in line with the Henry's Fork Lodge experience
- Develop nightly dessert menus
- Daily preparation of fresh breakfast pastries, fresh cookies for picnic lunches and seasonal sorbets and ice cream
- Supporting the chef/sous chef in prep work, plating, expediting and meal ticket organization
- Ordering and stocking supplies
