About Hampton by Hilton Bar Harbor
The Hampton by Hilton Bar Harbor sits atop the highest hill in Bar Harbor, overlooking the downtown village, Frenchman Bay, and surrounded by the mountains of Acadia National Park. Offering stunning views of the ocean and mountains, Hampton Bar Harbor is set in a private, secluded location, just a short walk from downtown. This is the only seasonal Hilton property in the United States, open to guests from May to November each year.
The Hampton by Hilton Bar Harbor is the backdrop for many amazing, memorable vacation experiences in Bar Harbor. Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park have been destinations attracting visitors from around the world for generations.

Hampton Bar Harbor offers a limited number of apartment-style employee housing opportunities on a first-come, first-served basis – available floor plans and shared rooming options begin at $100 USD per week. Bar Harbor and the surrounding areas provide a variety of seasonal and year-round housing options.

Getting Here and Getting Around
There are several options available to get to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island. Our hotel and employee housing has free parking available for staff bringing a car to the area.
Fly to Boston, Massachusetts then take the Concord Trailways bus from Boston to Bangor, Maine, or fly directly to Bangor. An airport shuttle service is available for transfers from the Bangor area to Bar Harbor, Maine.
Transportation around Bar Harbor and the surrounding area during the summer without a car is possible thanks to the free Island Explorer shuttle system. Acadia National Park encourages car-free visitation and has many options for enjoying the area using public transportation.
