About Greenhorn Ranch
Our team is the real deal. We are driven to serve guests through Western hospitality, a warm welcome, real ranch living, and unparalleled vacation experience. We breathe cowboy culture with all the fixins of California living. Catering to greenhorns from around the world, we offer families and vacationers a genuine horse ranch experience with guided trail rides, horseback riding lessons, expert wranglers, stocked fishing ponds, and more.
With thousands of miles of trail, more than 80-head horses trained for family riding, a staff of full-time wranglers and adventure seekers, Greenhorn Ranch is looking for a rugged, rough and ready staff with a keen sense of empathy to connect with the average Greenhorn. We want to work with people who want to work with flatlanders looking to discover a new way of life. We help them cultivate their cowboy within in every way.
The Employee Experience
At Greenhorn Ranch, we believe in providing genuine hospitality with love. We fulfill our values by cultivating a true family culture amongst our staff. We all care about each other here and form lasting bonds with our Greenhorn Family. We spend much of our time together laughing around the campfire, enjoying meals together and exploring the adventures of Plumas County. While our ranch activities remain consistent, there’s never a dull moment at Greenhorn Ranch! Each week you’ll meet new people from across the country and all over the world, hear their stories and share yours.
Greenhorns from all over come back because of the incredible service and long-time friendships they build on the ranch. None of this would be possible if it weren’t for the experienced wranglers and dedicated staff who continue to return to Greenhorn Ranch year after year. Our team make up the fabric that is Greenhorn Ranch and we wouldn’t be here without them.
