The San Juan Islands are a group of 172 named islands and reefs located in San Juan County. Three ferry served Islands, San Juan Island(with the county seat Friday Harbor), Orcas Island, and Lopez Island are the most populous and host the vast majority of lodging and dining options and tourism activities. The islands capture the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with the peacefulness of a small town. The waters surrounding the islands are truly a wonder. On any given day you could see a resident Orca whale and enjoy Dungeness crab or prawns wild-caught that very morning. Friday Harbor Drug is located on San Juan Island in the town of Friday Harbor. Friday Harbor has a movie theater numerous restaurants, hotels, bars, and even a brewery. There's no shortage of chances to interact with the great outdoors. Take a whale tour, enjoy a hike on the miles and miles of trails, or venture out on a night kayak tour into the bioluminescent plankton. Make it your own personal adventure.
