Boat Crew, Boat Captains

We are seeking passionate and personable Crew and Captains for an exciting and adventurous opportunity to work on the water. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our guests all while enjoying some of the most beautiful scenery on the coast of Maine.  We are very much a hands-on organization with many staff who have started as deckhands and moved on to captain a number of our vessels.  At our core, a good work ethic and teamwork and a serious interest in traditional working vessels are required.  We have restored, renovated, and even built many of the vessels we operate, and ALL our staff gets their hands dirty, from the newest crew member to the most senior captains.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and navigate the vessel, following all maritime laws and regulations
• Communicate with guests and provide excellent customer service, ensuring their satisfaction and safety
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on the watercraft and report any necessary repairs
• Manage the inventory of supplies and equipment onboard
• Maintain a clean and organized vessel
• Work with a team of crew members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Follow emergency procedures in case of unexpected events
• Vessel maintenance
