We are a 108 year old private yacht club in the Hamptons. We provide a high level of fine dining with a few to no outside events.
- Applicant must have at least 2 years experience in a role as chef de cuisine or sous chef.
- Must embody a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, display great communication, have a natural ability to see the bigger picture, display clear direction and focus to team members and have a high level of fine dining experience and advanced culinary technique.
- The Applicant must have or acquire a current Suffolk County Food Handlers (like Safe Serve) Certificate
- Most importantly you must have a great passion for the craft, a sense of urgency, strong leadership qualities, and a positive nature under pressure.
Duties include but are not limited to; overseeing all kitchen rolls and positions with a strong understanding of par levels, prep and execution needs, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, entering food inventory, and managing al a carte lunch and dinner services timing and execution.
Must be respectful of teammates and have a desire to excel and have fun.
