Deschutes River Adventures is looking for an experienced multi-day guide to join our crew this season! We run about 30, 2, 3 and 4 day trips per season on the Deschutes River. The Lead Multi-Day River Guide oversees the planning, packing, and launching of our overnight river trips. The position requires collaboration with DRA guides and managers to ensure a smooth planning, shopping, and packing process for all of our overnight trips. This lead position will have a vast river, camping, and rafting gear knowledge, previous rowing experience, and have worked overnight river trips in the past. The lead position will realize the importance of Deschutes River Adventures' goals of excellent guest service, prioritizing safety, and an overall commitment to excellence in our work. We are a highly organized well well-oiled machine when it comes to our guided river trip schedule!
Priority will be given to the candidate with overnight river trip experience. Housing and meals are provided.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current First Aid / CPR (we can help you renew)
- Swiftwater Training 1 (preferred)
- Clean driving record
- 18 y/o or older
- Timeliness
- Flexibility
- Follow Instructions
- Helpful and positive attitude
- Professionalism on the river and in the shop at all time
