About Badlands National Park:​

The rugged beauty of the Badlands draws visitors from around the world. These striking geologic deposits contain one of the world’s richest fossil beds. Ancient horses and rhinos once roamed here. The park’s 244,000 acres protect an expanse of mixed-grass prairie where bison, bighorn sheep, prairie dogs, and black-footed ferrets live today.​

The Badlands Inn is open seasonally from mid-May through mid-October. The inn offers twenty rooms in a two-story building with all rooms fully renovated with all-new hardwood floors, interior and exterior paint, flat-screen televisions, and bedding. The Badlands Inn is ideally located a short mile from the Ben Reifel Visitor Center and Cedar Pass Lodge and Restaurant. ​

Cedar Pass Lodge was originally built in 1928 to include the dining room, the Historic Cabins, and a counter for curios. Millard Ridge is the high ridge rising above the Cedar Pass area & where the Lodge/park headquarters are located.
