Located amidst the serene beauty of Northern Michigan, our long-standing traditional summer camp is dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences for campers. We pride ourselves on fostering growth, adventure, and lasting memories in a safe and engaging environment.
Position:
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Ski/Wake-board / surf Boat Driver to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine a passion for boating with a commitment to enriching the lives of young campers through water sports and outdoor activities.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating ski/wakeboard boats is essential.
- Overnight camp experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and care for ski boats.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for campers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and attentive to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate ski/wakeboard boats, ensuring the well-being and enjoyment of campers during water activities.
- Maintain and perform basic upkeep of boats, including cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs.
- Instruct and supervise campers in water skiing, wakeboarding, and other water sports, emphasizing safety and skill development.
- Collaborate with camp staff to coordinate schedules, activities, and safety protocols for water-related programs.
- Uphold and enforce camp policies and procedures to ensure a safe and positive experience for all participants.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and personal growth.
