Summer Camp Waterfront Counselor Waterfront Staff at Camp Birch Hill

We are currently seeking Waterfront Staff for our 2024 season! Our Waterfront Staff are camp counselors who specialize in lifeguarding and class instruction for activities out on our pond (swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, paddle boarding, water trampoline, etc.) To apply, you should be comfortable in and around the water. We will prioritize applicants with an active lifeguarding certification, but will also consider those willing to arrive to camp early and complete a certification with us.

If you are passionate about working with children and looking for a close community, join us for an unforgettable summer! Camp Birch Hill is a classic New England summer camp. We are an all-gender camp for ages 6-16 at the foot of New Hampshire's White Mountains. With a focus on fun, our elective program lets campers choose from over 50 activities to create their own personalized schedule. The camp itself is nestled into the woods against a pond with 2,000ft of waterfront. We have a high ropes course, an arts and crafts pavilion, a theater program, sports fields, tennis courts, water sports, and much more. 

When not down at our beach or out on the pond our Waterfront Staff get the full camp counselor experience. You will spend the summer sleeping in a cabin, enjoying evenings around a campfire, traveling around New England with co-workers on days off, and building close-lasting connections within our small community.

All applicants must be at least 18 years old and be available for the entire season: June 21st - August 11th, 2024. Housing and meals are provided for the duration of employment.
