Come up to the Arctic Bush of Alaska and help us make our Guest's bucket list items come true!  Our guests primary goal in summer is to visit Gates of the Arctic National Park and Kobuk Valley National Park.  In mid-August, the skies are dark enough to see the Northern Lights and guests come from all over the world to see the Aurora Borealis!

You will be responsible for preparing delicious meals from scratch for our guests, employees as well as walk-in customers in our tiny, fly-in only village.  You should be prepared to cook for 30 - 40 people each day.  You will also be responsible for helping us keep track of our restaurant food supplies.  While you can expect help with washing dishes, kitchen cleanliness is your responsbility.

We also expect you to be flexible and a team player.  All employees are expected to answer the telephone and aircraft radio calls when needed.  Of course, we'll train you on the proper phone and radio etiquette for our lodge.  Our small lodge employs approximately 10 people per season.

All jobs at our lodge are physically demanding and require extended periods of standing and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Your benefits include 3 meals a day, a private sleeping room with bedding, and an equal share of tips. You'll need to be able to get yourself to Fairbanks Alaska, then we provide air transportation from Fairbanks to Bettles at the beginning of the season and back to Fairbanks at the end of the season.  You will be eligible for an end of season bonus if you successfully complete the summer season.  You will also have the opportunity to visit the pristine Arctic National parks, float the Koyukuk river, hike and explore Bettles on your day off.

Come up to the Arctic Circle for an adventure of a lifetime!
