Camp Director

The Bear Valley Summer Day Camp is a true outdoor adventure for kids ages 5 - 12 years old and up. For 8 themed weeks during the summer, kids are hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, exploring nature, and building friendships. Campers are split up into 3 different age groups to participate in activity schedules geared toward their ages and ability levels. Camp counselors are hired and trained to supervise groups and facilitate activities. We also partner with local guiding companies and other organizations to collaborate on experiences for the campers. Camp has secured a 3 year contract with Alpine County to receive subsidized funding for offering healthy programming to Bear Valley local kids.
