Premier Biking Destination seeking their next super skilled Bike Mechanic

Angel Fire Bike Park is looking for Bike Mechanics to perform maintenance on the fleet of bikes within the shop and for customer bikes.  Applicants must demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for Downhill Mountain Biking and be able to provide exceptional guest service at all times.  They must work well under pressure, follow strict policies and procedures, work as a team, and help foster a positive, fun, and safe work environment.

Base Pay: Starting at $18 per hour

Employee Type: Hourly, non-exempt

Job Category: Summer seasonal - full time or part time

Leadership Responsibilities: No

Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled 

Estimated start date: Early May

Minimum Age: 18 

Typical Shift: 8am-5pm but night shift schedules may be available as well 

Environment: This is an indoor position. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and regularly lift/carry 50lbs.

Housing: Limited employee housing is available upon request.  Employee housing is “dorm-style” and starts at $400/month.  A list of local rental resources is available upon request.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Service and repair components such as brake bleeds, bearing installation, suspension overhauls, truing wheels, tubeless tire installation, derailleur tuning/adjustment, and final quality control check
• Diagnose and resolve issues within fleet bikes and for guest bikes
• Communicate clearly with your team and with our guests
• Communicates with management part needs
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace

Qualifications:

• Must have in-shop bicycle mechanic experience
• Be self-motivated
