As a CDL driver-guide, you will be responsible for the safe loading, transporting and unloading of guests in a friendly, courteous, professional manner.  Driver guides are responsible for maintaining regular communication with the front office dispatch and tour supervisors in the field.  A class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement and no airbrake restrictions, current DOT Physical Card, clean driving record, pre-employment drug testing and enrollment in a random drug testing program required.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Compliance with all DOT regulations
  • Accurate completion of pre & post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR)
  • Daily cleaning and minor maintenance of all equipment and facilities keeping them clean, orderly and in good repair
  • Obeying all traffic laws and ensuring vehicles have all required safety equipment
  • Learning the information necessary to deliver an entertaining and informed narrative during the tour including flora, fauna, and natural history of the area
  • Creating a positive, professional culture and work environment
  • Understanding and compliance with company safety & operational policies
